Brief description of what services your organisation offers

Stuarts House Care Limited (SHC) are a day care service offering specialist support to adults with autism in Hampshire wishing to spend time in a rural farm environment within the New Forest National Park. SHC also provide supported living services and support for individuals to access the local community.

Where the service takes place

Littlecott Farm Day Centre is situated in the village of Bartley, New Forest.

What the organisation provides – types of interventions and support

ASD trained staff work through the use of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). With support from our staff using positive behavioural techniques our service users have individual programs to develop and maintain skills working on animal care, equestrian husbandry, horticulture, land maintenance, woodwork, dog agility, vehicle maintenance and much more. As part of our individual care plans service users are taught to use communication aids such as PECS visuals and weekly timetables.

SHC Produce quarterly progress reports available to our service users and parents/carers on request.

Who can access the service?

Criteria for SHC – Any individual who has a diagnosis of Autism. An individual who has Autism and would benefit from supported living or day care support at Stuart’s House Care Limited.

Quality standards and expected outcomes for children and young people and their families accessing your service

Our organisation works closely with families/carers to insure the support we deliver is person centred. We produce quarterly progress reports upon request. SHC are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

The majority of the individuals who access our service do so through direct payments.
