Brief description of what services your organisation offers
Portsmouth Parent Voice is run by parents for parents with a child with an additional or special need and or a disability. Our aim is to have the active involvement of parent carers in the service planning and decision making processes within the local authority, to make them more focused on the needs of the families with disabled children. We also aim to support parent carers to have a voice on how services for disabled children are shaped and delivered locally.

Portsmouth Parent Voice provides:
- Monthly newsletters to keep parent/carers updated about current developments and activities.
- Provide regular coffee drop in sessions with other support groups
- Organise family activities
- A central information store
- Recruit and provide training/workshops

Parent or carer of a child or young person with an additional or special educational need and or disability.
Expected outcomes for children and young people and their families accessing your services
To promote improved outcomes for the health, safety and wellbeing of disabled children, young people and their families by encouraging and empowering them to participate in all decision making processes at a local level.
