About our College

Portsmouth College offers a broad range of courses for both the 16-18 and 19+ age groups. The level of our courses ranges from Pre entry to Level 3 BTEC and A Level programmes and Level 4 Access to University programmes. We aim to prepare young people for adulthood and participation in society

What the organisation provides – types of interventions and support:

We offer support in the following areas:

  • Academic, study and learning support in and outside the classroom
  • Support with sensory impairment and physical disabilities, to include appropriate resources and personal care
  • Careers, employability, progression and apprenticeships
  • Student Services- counselling, mentoring and liaison with outside agencies as appropriate
  • Enrichment activities
  • Able and talented

Ofsted have graded the College as ‘Good’.

Learner progress is tracked and the expected outcome for learners is that they will achieve chosen qualifications
