Junior Disability Football – Pompey in the Community

Brief description of what services your organisation offers

Football sessions every Saturday morning 9.30 – 10.30am and Tuesday evening 5.00 – 6.00 pm for young people aged 5-16 with a range of mental and physical difficulties such as cerebral palsy, autism, global development delay or visual impairment.

Where the service is provided?

Mountbatten leisure Centre, Alex Way, PO2 9QA. Between November and April the session on Saturday mornings will be in Mayfield school sports hall.

£3.00 per session

What the organisation provides?

Fun, enjoyable football sessions delivered by qualified coaches. Increase activity levels and improve fitness whilst having fun.

Who can access the sessions?

Young people (5-16) with a range of mental or physical difficulties. For ambient and for people who use walking aids

Expected outcomes for children and young people and their families accessing your service

Enjoyable sessions aimed at developing young people’s fitness and their football skills and improving their self confidence.
