Being able to travel out and about is a big part of becoming an adult. A young person may be able to do this on their own, or they may need to have someone with them. In Portsmouth we have services and support to help young people travel around the city safely.

If you are in college or school you can speak to your tutor and ask for some Travel help. In Portsmouth City some schools and colleges offer travel training as part of a course.

Disabled person's bus pass

Disabled Person’s bus pass

If you have a disability or need, you may be able to get a Disabled Person’s Bus Pass. This is a pass which lets you travel for free at any time of the day on a bus.

There is a criteria (set of rules you have to meet) to get a disabled person’s bus pass in Portsmouth. You will have to show proof of your disability when you apply.

Home to school transport
