Teach Portsmouth invites local residents to find out more about becoming a teaching assistant in a school at an upcoming information event at Portsmouth Central Library (third floor) on Tuesday 28 February between 10am and 2pm.
Meet learning support staff as they share their own experiences from Portsmouth’s classrooms as well as a head teacher who will give top tips on applying for a support vacancy.
Training providers will also be on hand to provide information on training and apprenticeships in education too.
Portsmouth schools will be on hand to discuss roles and current vacancies within their schools.
This event is perfect for those considering a career in education and wanting more information on becoming a teaching assistant.
