Enable Ability Autism Support Young Adults club
29/01/2020
Baffins, 127 Tangier Road, Portsmouth, PO3 6PD
6:00 pm
Free
The Young Adults club is for those aged 14-25 years, to come to the pub and hang out, play games, make friends and have a nice evening. For both the service user and the guardian to enjoy, we have plenty of food, drinks and games to choose from at this local family venue.
This group provides a more ‘adult’ yet safe environment for our members up to about 25 years of age. We suggest that this event is for teenagers and older; under 18s must bring authorisation and our emergency contact details from a named parent or carer.
There is a pool table and wi-fi available, and the Young Adults can bring games if they want to play them – but the aim of the meet-up is to bring people together and socialise, and develop friendships amongst peers.
Drop in between 6pm – 9pm
15 – 25 years
PASN are not responsible for people’s travel to or from the event
The Baffins pub is our base for a monthly meet-up. They are very keen to support PASN and will cordon off an area of the pub for our members, with a nearby table / area where carers and parents will be able to join in or meet up themselves. There is also food for sale for those that wish. (everyone will pay for their own food and drinks)
Please note: Meeting in a pub means that there will be an opportunity to buy alcohol. PASN will take no responsibility for behaviour of members who do not drink responsibly or safely, and ID will be required to show the Baffins staff as proof of age. If there is inappropriate behaviour, PASN or the Baffins pub may suggest that the meet-up is not a suitable event for that member and they may be asked to leave and excluded from future events.
