Brief description of what services your organsisation offers:
This group is aimed at young adults between 15 - 25 and the focus of the group is to help them learn essential independent living skills and develop friendships.

Where the service is provided - please state if city wide or locality based:
The Young Adults Club takes place in The Baffins Pub, 127 Tangier Road, Portsmouth, PO3 6PD on the last Wednesday of the month between 6.00 - 9.00pm.  There is a cordoned off area of the pub for the group members with a nearby table/area where carers and parents will be able to join in or meet up themselves.

What the organisation provides - types of interventions and support:
This group will provid an 'adult' yet safe environment for members up to 25 years of age.  We suggest that this event is for teenagers and older; under 18s must bring authorisation and emergency contact details from a named parent or carer.
There is a pool table and wi-fi available and also food for sale for those who want to buy it ( everyone will pay for their own food and drinks).  Group members can bring games if they want to play them but the aim of the meet-up is to bring people together to socialise and develop friendships amongst peers.  We also run a monthly activity for the Young Adults Club such as bowling, cinema trips, Christmas meals and more!  These activities can be booked on Eventbrite.
The focus of the group is to help them learn essential independent living skills, develop friendships and have a chance to learn essential social and interaction skills they may require additional help with to develop.

How can this service be accessed?:
All tickets must be booked in advance prior to attending the event via eventbrite: http://pasn.eventbrite.com  If there are extenuating circumstances that mean you cannot book online, please let us know and we will try to work with you to resolve them on a case by case basis.  We do recommend that young people try to attend every week where possible.

Become a member and receive discounted events, charity news and event invites by completing a short online form here: https://www.joinit.org/o/PASN and we ask for a small membership fee of £5 per family, per year.
